About Me — Charlotte Myles
Hello, I’m Charlotte — a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Stone, Staffordshire, capturing natural, heartfelt moments that tell a genuine story. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I picked up my first camera, I knew I wanted to spend my life freezing real emotion and creating beautiful images that people could treasure forever. That passion led me to study the subject in depth, earning my A-Level in Photography, and setting the foundations for what would eventually become my dream career.
Before settling in Staffordshire, life took me on some incredible adventures. I’ve lived, travelled and worked in destinations around the world, including Australia and Spain, and those experiences shaped both my creativity and my approach behind the camera. Being exposed to different landscapes, cultures, and people helped me develop a relaxed, natural shooting style — one that focuses on storytelling, authenticity, and emotion.
Now, I’m happily settled in Stone with my lovely husband, Tom, and I couldn’t feel more at home. We were married at the stunning Iscoyd Park, a place that means the world to me personally. It would be an absolute dream to photograph a wedding there — capturing other couples’ love stories in the same beautiful setting where mine began.
When I’m not photographing weddings or engagement sessions across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheshire, Shropshire, and the West Midlands, you’ll almost always find me outdoors. I’m a huge adventure lover — the kind of person who believes the best views come from big climbs and muddy boots. One of my proudest achievements is hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, an experience that changed the way I see resilience, connection, and the beauty in pushing yourself toward something meaningful. Closer to home, you’ll often spot me at the social running club in Stone, where I get to balance my editing days with fresh air, movement, and a lovely community spirit.
As a photographer, I’m known for being warm, approachable and quietly confident — the kind of person who blends into your day while capturing everything you want to remember. My couples often tell me they forget the camera is there, and that’s exactly how I want you to feel. I believe the best images come from genuine moments: the unposed in-betweens, the soft glances, the big laughter, the hands held tightly. Whether I’m photographing weddings, engagements, families or portraits, my goal is always the same — to create timeless, elegant imagery that feels like you.
If you’re looking for a natural, storytelling wedding photographer in Staffordshire, I’d love to hear your plans and help bring your vision to life. Every love story is different, and it’s a privilege to capture it.
